Setchem (Pty) Ltd is a BEE rated, privately owned South African Company specialising in the supply of chemicals and chemical dosing plants, and providing back-up services to the mining and mineral processing industries.
There was a need to bridge the gap between suppliers with traditionally limited knowledge of process equipment and applications, and equipment suppliers with limited knowledge of correct reagent usage. Setchem, being a subsidiary of Roytec Global ( a leading supplier of Thickeners, Clarifiers & Filters), was formed in 2013 to bridge this gap. Setchem is the only chemical supplier within Africa with a liquid/solid separation equipment background. Since 2013, Setchem services and supplies South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia and the DRC.

Striving for continuous improvement, Setchem formulated SC510A for applications with high solids loading. SC901 & SC900 are non-ionic flocculants that require a much shorter hydration time compared to typical non-ionic flocculants available on the market.
Setchem has established a long term technical development and supply partnership with Tianrun Chemicals.
The partnership boasts a strong Research and Development focus and guided by Setchem's process orientated engineers, we are able to develop and formulate products specific to a Customer's needs.
